Honey tangerines might be the sweetest tangerines, which is how they acquired such a cute name. They are grown in Florida from January to April, typically they have a reddish tint to their skin but sometimes they can have a yellow hue. This is all dependent on the weather conditions during their growing season. When you pick these out, you want to look for ones that are heavy for their size, shiny and smooth. One that is light won’t be as juicy and make sure there are no green spots or wrinkling. Enjoy these quickly because they spoil fast.
